In April 2020, we opened a new hall with a larger, more spacious pickling facility.

Thanks to new tanks and equipment, we can now pickle up to 40 tons per week!

In cooperation, we offer abrasive blasting (shot peening) of stainless steel components in chambers with the following dimensions:

Large: 9 m x 5 m x 4.3 m Small: 1.25 m x 0.8 m x 0.8 m

Ceramic shot peening is one of the best finishing methods for stainless steel surfaces. This process improves resistance to pitting and stress corrosion, and is significantly less erosive than sandblasting or glass bead blasting. Shot peening thoroughly cleans components, removing discolorations, shading variations, or scratches, while creating a uniform, satin surface across the entire part. Additionally, this process reduces surface stresses after welding and cold working of stainless steel.

Pickling at the Highest Level

At our facility, Trawialnia.eu, we use both immersion and spray picklingto remove surface layers of metal products, corrosion products, oxides, rust, and scale — wherever the chromium content on the surface of stainless steel has been depleted.

We pickle stainless steel grades in carefully selected acid mixtures of different concentrations, sometimes with salts added to enhance the process.
Pickling acid-resistant steels produces uniform oxidation (the formation of an oxide layer) across the entire surface. To lock in this protective layer, the treated part can also undergo passivation.

New Facility — Larger Tanks

We pickle in immersion baths with the following tank sizes:
(length x width x height):
9000 x 2800 x 1800 mm
7000 x 2000 x 1700 mm
3000 x 3000 x 2400 mm
and many smaller

To treat the rinse water from our chemical processing, we use a SOP — Rinse Water Treatment Station — with a capacity of over 7 m³ per day.

Thanks to additional equipment, we recycle water and wash treated parts with distilled water, ensuring perfect cleanliness of all pickled elements.

Our facility is equipped with two overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 5 tons and 3.2 tons. This allows for more efficient and environmentally friendly stainless steel pickling.

That makes steel pickling more efficient and consistently environmentally friendly.
