In April 2020, we opened a new hall with a larger pickling room with greater capacity

Thanks to new baths and devices, we can perform pickling on 40 tons per week!

This means that steel pickling processes will be faster and more effective than ever before. Thanks to this our customers wait less for the service and their steel is cleaner than ever.

Proces kuleczkowania ?rutem ceramicznym, to jedna z najlepszych metod obróbki wyka?czaj?cej powierzchni? stali nierdzewnej. Metoda ta polepsza odporno?? na korozj? w?erow? i napr??eniow?, a tak?e jest w du?o mniejszym stopniu erozyjna od piaskowania czy szkie?kowania. Kuleczkowanie oczyszcza elementy, usuwa przebarwienia, zmiany odcieni czy zarysowania oraz powoduje uzyskanie jednolitej i satynowej faktury na ca?ej powierzchni. Dodatkowo proces ten powoduje zmniejszenie napr??e? powierzchniowych po spawaniu i obróbce plastycznej stali nierdzewnej.

Pickling at the highest level

At our facility Trawialnia.eu we use both immersion and spray pickling.This process is used to clear a metal's surface layer of corrosion, oxides, rust, scale - any places where the chromium content on the surface of the steel has been reduced.

We perform pickling of alloy steels in mixtures of appropriately selected acids of various concentrations, sometimes with the addition of salts facilitating pickling.
Pickling of acid-resistant steels leads to uniform oxidation (formation of an oxide layer) of the material's entire surface. To strengthen this coating, the element can be additionally subjected to passivation.

We perform pickling in baths of the following dimensions:
(length x width x height).
9000 x 2800 x 1800 mm
7000 x 2000 x 1700 mm
3000 x 3000 x 2400 mm
and many smaller

Processing of water washings from the chemical treatment process is performed by a SOP, i.e. Washings Treatment Station, which has a capacity of over 7 m3/day.

Additional devices allows us to recover water and wash the processed workpieces with distilled water. This way we can provide perfect purity of the elements we pickle.

Our pickling plant is equipped with two overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 5 tonnes and 3.2 tonnes

This makes the pickling of steel more efficient and, as always, environmentally friendly.
